A Middle Preclassic Site on the Pacific Coast of Chiapas, Mexico

Tzutzuculi, located along the Pacific Coast near the town of Tonalá, was an early center with a well-developed platform complex dating to the Middle to Late Formative period. The site layout shows connections with other key sites, including Chiapa de Corzo, La Libertad, and La Venta.
